Providing a high vantage point, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) is an excellent way to view wildlife in, on and around the water. It provides a great core workout as you are constantly using your body’s stabilizing muscles. SUP is best enjoyed on calm days with little or no wind, in sheltered coves and ponds, or simply traveling downwind. SUP surfing or expeditions are also an option once you have mastered the basic paddling techniques.
