Goose Creek Sunset-Moonrise Paddle

5:30 pm – 7:30 pm

We’ll enjoy the sights and sounds of autumn as we paddle through “The Maze,” another name for this serpentine tidal creek that winds its way through the extensive salt marsh located on the harbor side of Sammy’s Beach, Three Mile Harbor. Bring a snack and beverage for a stop at Dayton’s Island to view the sunset and moonrise.
Kayak, canoe and standup paddleboards available to rent (contact mike).
Meet at the harbor side of Maidstone Park, Springs.

Georgica Pond Nature Paddle: Monarch Migration

Saturday September 13, 2014 (10 am – Noon)

2013 was not a good year for Monarch butterflies. How will they do in 2014? Learn about the life history of this fascinating creature as we paddle to the Georgica Pond “gut” to look for Monarchs. This paddle is timed to coincide with peak Monarch migration. Rentals available: $40 single kayak; $60 tandem kayak; $50 paddleboard (SUP). Lifejackets included.
