Last Group Paddle of the Year!

We hope everyone has been enjoying this particularly nice fall. Below are the details for Mike’s last group paddle of the year (this Saturday…forecast looks good).

Accabonac Paddle
Saturday, October 19, 2013 · 10 am – Noon
Sponsored by the South Fork Natural History Museum
Mike will lead you on this leisurely paddle to learn about the history and, this time, the fall ecology of “Bonac Creek.” You’ll travel along this very scenic estuary, bordered by extensive salt marsh, and teeming with marine life and birds. Wear shoes that can get wet. Single kayaks ($40), tandem kayaks and canoes ($60) and standup paddleboards ($50) are available to rent (and include life jacket) or bring your own kayak, canoe, or board.
Meet at Landing Lane.
To make a reservation for this program please call the South Fork Natural History museum at 631-537-9735.
